Terms of Service

1. The Service

Clocktap provides employee time tracking software for businesses, including tools to record clock-in and clock-out times and view/export reports.

2. Accounts and Access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account information up to date.

3. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of any information you enter into the Service, including employee information and time entries. You are responsible for complying with any applicable employment, payroll, and recordkeeping laws.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Clocktap is offered as a subscription service. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis and automatically renew unless canceled.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

5. Free Trial

If offered, a free trial provides access to the Service for a limited period (for example, 14 days). Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your payment method will be charged at the end of the trial.

6. Complimentary Access

Clocktap may grant complimentary access to the Service at its sole discretion. Complimentary access may be modified or revoked at any time.

7. Plan Limits

Your plan may include limits such as the number of employees. If you exceed plan limits, you may be required to upgrade or reduce usage.

8. Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. Clocktap does not store your full payment card details. Your use of Stripe may be subject to Stripe’s terms and policies.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or use the Service for unlawful purposes.

10. Availability and Changes

We strive to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. CLOCKTAP DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLOCKTAP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if your subscription becomes inactive or unpaid. You may stop using the Service at any time.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Clocktap operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
